ClipKit (“we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights when you use our platform at clipkit.cloud.

1. Information We Collect

›Account information: Your name and email address when you sign in.
›Connected accounts: When you link a social account, we store a secure credential issued by that platform to act on your behalf. We never access your passwords.
›Content you submit: URLs you provide for processing, and the clips and files generated from them.
›Usage data: Standard technical logs for security and reliability purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

›Service delivery: To process videos, generate clips, and publish to connected platforms on your behalf.
›Security: To authenticate you and protect your account.
›Improvement: Aggregated, anonymised usage data may be used to improve ClipKit.
›Communications: To send important service-related notices.

3. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We only share data as necessary to operate the service:

›Platform integrations: When you request publishing, your content is sent to the relevant platform via its official API.
›AI processing: Transcript text may be sent to AI services to identify clips. We use reputable providers under appropriate agreements.
›Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of our users.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

Data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual pipeline runs from your dashboard at any time. To request full account deletion, email hello@clipkit.cloud — we will action it within 30 days.

5. Your Rights

You may access, correct, or delete your data at any time. You can disconnect platform integrations from the Settings page, which immediately removes stored credentials. For any other request, contact hello@clipkit.cloud.

6. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of internet transmission is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data against unauthorised access.

7. Children

ClipKit is not directed at children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us so we can delete it.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the date above. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance.
